LIFESTYLE: #ItsBanana Summer Style

I teamed up with Banana Republic, and got to style these fun pieces that are now 40% off when you use BRTAKE40! I had friends in town from LA, so I took them to of my favorite Nashville spots, Pinewood Social.

I'm not much of a flats girl, but these plush blue flats are changing the game for me. I love a good adventure, and exploring this new city of mine, and these bright blue flats are perfect for Summer adventures. While at Pinewood Social, we discovered a pool, which in the past few months of living in Nashville, I didn't realize existed. Next to the pool there's the cutest little airstream that served frozen sangria and lots of other yummy drinks and food. I couldn't love Pinewood more, it's one of the first places I take people who are visiting from out of town.

Working as a reporter and on camera host, I'm always looking for good dresses that cinch in my waist, and are professional enough, but not too stuffy to where I feel the need to go change before meeting up with friends or going to a casual work dinner. This blue and white geo dress does just that! The pattern is fun, bold, and the shape of the dress is super flattering. Also, so glad it's sleeveless, because this new found humidity is killing me, y'all!

If you're visiting Nashville, I couldn't recommend Pinewood Social more. We stayed half the day there, because there's so much you can do. It's not just a restaurant, there's cozy couches for working, a bowling alley to get your alley cat strike on, bocci ball, ping pong tables, and the just discovered pool!
